Description

Every now and then one is faced with a hurdle, which really gets you to take a step back and re-evaluate everything.

What I thought was going to be an easy slam dunk target as a first light for my new rig, turned out quite the nightmare.

It was so exhausting to say the least, so much so that I can't even do a proper write up as I'm use to.

One thing I'd like to mention though, I pulled out all the tricks I know and more to get this image to a
post-able stage, and quite frankly not overly happy with the result.

We live to learn, and I've learnt the importance of dynamic range with this one and how you really need to really look into your camera's charts.
To be very honest I expected a better output for 16 hours of dual narrowband data,  extracted from about 8 useable imaging with impeccable guiding.

But hey that's life, you can't always get what you want.

Total usable integration time 15h 55m
